General
1. Can I use eRank for free?
Yes. You can sign up for our free plan without submitting any credit card or payment information. Please note that this is not just a free trial period. You can stay on eRank's free plan for as long as you'd like!
2. Can I cancel my monthly plan anytime?
Yes. You can cancel, downgrade, or upgrade your monthly plan at any time. You can cancel your plan from your Settings page. You will have access to your current plan's features until the end of the billing period. Afterward, your account will automatically downgrade to eRank's free plan.
3. What is eRank’s refund policy?
You get a 14-day money-back guarantee on all annual plans. Monthly plans are nonrefundable but you can cancel, downgrade, or upgrade your plan at any time.
4. Can my employees sign into eRank with separate accounts and still use my plan?
We don’t offer team access at the moment. However, we may consider adding this feature to annual plans in the future.
Payments
5. How often will I be billed for my eRank Basic, Pro, or Expert plan?
eRank is a recurring subscription service. We will bill you via the payment method you have chosen once a month if you're on a monthly plan or once a year if you're on an annual plan. You can update your payment method at any time from your Settings page.
Example: If you subscribed to a monthly plan on November 5, the next payment will occur on December 5.
Please note that if you subscribe to a monthly plan at the end of a month (such as the 29th, 30th, or 31st), many credit card vendors will adjust the billing cycle to the first day of the following month.
6. Can I get an invoice or receipt for my payments?
Yes. You can access and download invoices from your Settings page.
7. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards from all major credit card providers including Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Discover, JCB, and American Express. We also accept payments via PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bancontact, and iDeal. Your payment is protected by Paddle.
8. How does eRank process payments?
We use Paddle for payment processing. Paddle processes all eRank plan payments and will email you your receipt at the beginning of each billing cycle. Paddle stores your payment details securely. So, if you see Paddle mentioned on your eRank receipt, do not worry!
9. Is my payment information secure?
For privacy and security reasons, eRank does not store your credit card information on its servers. You can read our privacy policy here and Paddle’s privacy policy here.

10. How do I switch to an annual plan?

11. How much will I save with an annual plan compared to a monthly plan?
You can save up to 25% when you sign up for one of eRank's annual plans!

12. Is the annual price a one-time payment or can I pay in installments?
Each of our annual plans requires a one-time payment at the time of purchase.
13. Will I still get the same features if I switch from a monthly plan to an annual plan?
Yes! If you are using a paid monthly plan and switch to the annual version of that
plan, you will still have access to all of the eRank tools you know and love.
14. Will my current monthly plan's data and settings transfer if I switch to the annual plan?
Yes. When you switch to the annual version of your current monthly plan, all of your keyword lists, settings, and other data will transfer.
15. What happens to my billing cycle if I switch to an annual plan mid-month?
You can switch from a monthly plan to an annual plan at any time. Your new annual plan will be prorated based on payments made on your current monthly plan.
16. Will I get a receipt or invoice for documentation purposes after switching from a monthly plan to an annual plan?
Yes. After switching from a monthly plan to an annual plan, you will receive an email from us documenting the change in billing. If there is a related transaction (credit added if downgrading and prorating or charge if upgrading and prorating), you will receive a second email documenting that transaction.
17. If I am on an annual plan, will I be notified before my subscription renews?
If you live in any of the following countries or US states, Paddle will send you a notification via email either 7 or 30 days prior to your auto-renewal (depending on the legal requirements of your region).

18. Can I downgrade from a higher-tier to a lower-tier annual plan?
Yes. The downgrade will go into effect at the end of your annual subscription period. To downgrade from a higher-tier to a lower-tier annual plan, please contact us here. We will process your request in 1-3 business days. After we switch your account to a monthly plan, you will receive two emails from Paddle. The second email will include the date you will be billed next.
19. Can I downgrade from an annual plan to a monthly plan?

20. Can I cancel my annual plan early?
Yes, you can cancel your annual plan at any time. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all annual plans. If you decide that an annual plan isn't right for you within the first 14 days of signing up for one, you can cancel it and receive a full refund. For instructions on how to submit a refund request, please refer to our Refund Policy.
However, please note that after the 14-day money-back period, your annual plan is non-refundable.* This means no refunds will be provided for any unused months if you cancel before the current subscription term ends. Your annual plan will remain active until the end of the annual billing cycle.
