Do you have a listing in your shop that isn't getting as much attention from shoppers as you thought it would? Use this handy guide to troubleshoot. Utilizing these tips may help improve your listing's visibility in Etsy's search results.
1. Audit Your Listing
Use eRank's Listing Audit tool to perform a comprehensive audit of any listing to see how well it complies with the guidelines in Etsy’s The Ultimate Guide to Etsy Search and Google Search Essentials. This feature provides a thorough analysis of a listing’s title, stats, attributes, tags, description, and more. It makes it easy for you to assess each component of the listing and learn the basics of Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
For easy access, this feature is linked within most of eRank’s listing reports. Click the "Listing Audit" button beneath any listing title to view its Listing Audit report page.
You can also access Listing Audit via the module on the right side of your eRank Dashboard.

2. Make Sure Your Listings Aren't Missing Key Components
Use eRank's Health Check tool to see if any of your listings are missing tags or images. This tool also lets you know if any of your listings contain spelling issues and one-word tags. Utilizing all of a listing's tags and images helps it appear in shoppers' searches more frequently. Ensuring that your listings are free of spelling issues and one-word tags can also help drive more traffic to your shop. Revise as needed by clicking any listing's "Edit on Etsy" button.
To access this tool, go to the Main Menu and select "Listing Optimization." Then, select "Health Check."

3. View Keywords Your Items Are Ranking For
Use eRank's Spotted on Etsy tool to see which of your listings eRank found among the first 100 search results for specific keywords while performing random Etsy searches. This feature also shows you the keywords that shoppers used to find your listings in Etsy search. Learn how popular those keywords are and how your items' ranks for all of the keywords have changed over the past 14 days. Do you see any items that are ranking for keywords that could be utilized in more of your listings -- perhaps in the listing that you are troubleshooting?
There are three ways to access Spotted on Etsy:
Click the "Spotted on Etsy" button at the top of your eRank dashboard.
Click the "See All Spotted Listings" button in the "Spotted on Etsy" section on your dashboard.
In the Main Menu, select "Shop Insights" and then "Spotted on Etsy."

4. Check in on Your Competitors' Sales
Use eRank's Competitor Sales tool to track the estimated daily, weekly, and monthly sales of your competitors' shops. This tool lets you see how your shop compares to other shops in the same category and provides real-time updates. It makes it easy to see if your competitors’ daily, weekly, or monthly sales are increasing or decreasing. This can be especially helpful when you’re experiencing a drop in sales and need to figure out if it’s due to a widespread decline in business within your niche or if your listings need some work.
To access this tool, go to the Main Menu and select "Competitor Research." Then, select "Sales."
Type the name of any active Etsy shop you wish to track into the search field. Then, click the green "Track Shop" button for eRank to add that shop to your competitor list.
