AI Listing Helper utilizes the power of AI to help you generate title, description, and tag ideas for your Etsy listings. This tool can help you get through even the worst case of writer's block by speeding up your writing and keyword research processes.
Benefits
When you need to create listings but your mind has gone "blank," use this feature to gain inspiration and revitalize your writing process.
Note: Please keep in mind that AI Listing Helper generates “starters.” Use them to get your brain in gear so that you can spend more time creating and less time researching.
That being said, OpenAI is not an SEO expert. You will still need to research its suggestions and apply common sense. Think of it like a plane’s "autopilot" setting. It helps you get from A to B, but you want a human to oversee the landing.
How to use
In the Main Menu, select "Listing Optimization" and then "AI Listing Helper."
Enter a short phrase that describes your product (example: "green glitter slime") into the field.
Select your preferred language using the dropdown menu in the bottom left corner of the field. Then, click the green "Submit" button on the right.
Free members can search one phrase per day, Basic members can search up to 10 phrases per day, Pro members can search up to 20 phrases per day, and Expert members can search up to 100 phrases per day.
View your search history over the past 30 days on the left side of the page. Click any previously searched phrase to look it up again and get additional ideas for that listing.
In seconds, you’ll start to see ideas generated by eRank + OpenAI (the same software behind ChatGPT).
To edit the phrase you entered, click the "Edit Prompt" button at the top of the page.
To search a new phrase, click the green "New Listing" button in the top left corner of the page.
Title Ideas and Description Ideas
Use these sections to view ideas for your listing's title and description. If you see something that works for your listing, click the "Copy" button on the right to copy it to your clipboard. From here, you can paste the idea directly into your listing. Again, please note that you will need to proofread anything generated by this tool thoroughly before publishing your listing.
Tag Ideas
Use this section to view the following information about each tag:

Here, you can add the term to or remove it from any list using the checkboxes on the left. You can also create new lists and delete lists you no longer need.

Drag and drop keywords into your lists here as you research. You can also manage your tracked shops in our Competitor Sales tool by clicking "Tracked Shops."

Who can use this?
This tool is available to all eRank members.
Please note that the Basic plan was introduced during COVID-19 as a temporary measure to support sellers. In August 2025, we retired the Basic plan to adapt to Etsy’s new API pricing and continue offering powerful, reliable tools. Rest assured, if you are a Basic member, you will remain on your current plan indefinitely unless you decide to cancel or upgrade.
